Happy President's Day ...

I know many of you are enjoying a 3 day weekend ... Hope you are using it well. Not much going on here today. Need to go grocery shopping and also look at a new bed. I have been sleeping on an air mattress since the move in and it is not all that comfortable. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Bored & Horny ...

Sitting at home, bored and kinda horned up. I am toying with the idea of heading over to Banana Video over on Clark this evening, just not sure I am fully up for it. Used to visit that place quite often when I lived here before, been there once since the move back. It was a weeknight and not much going on. Since it is Saturday night, thinking there might be a bit more action. Hmm ... weather has gone back to being a bit more chilly as well. The last couple of days were nice but now we are back to the cold. I don't mind it though.

Look At All The Cars ... Non-Nudes

Today I went to the Chicago Auto Show to see all of the cool cars ... and the hot boys that like to check them out too. There were a lot of cute boys and I tried to take as many photos as I could. It is hard to catch them all on the move with an iPhone. I so want to invest in one of those really nice cameras. I love taking pictures, not just of hot guys, but of scenery as well. I cannot afford one of those cameras though. Sorry, off track there. Anyway, if I had the nerve, and a really nice camera, I would have asked most of these boys to show me their nuts. I may get beat up in the process but it would be worth it. This is one of the VERY few non-nude posts you will see here. I just wanted to share these with ya. What do you think?

By the way, there were a lot of very nice cars there as well. I especially loved the new VW Jetta. I used to have a 2009 Jetta, before my life went wonky. I would love to have one of the new ones. If only I could come up with about $30,000! :)

Getting Screwed Over ...

Hey guys ... hope all is well with you. Looking at the blog title and wondering why I am getting screwed? Well, today I received a letter from my previous landlord stating that I would not receive my security deposit as I thought I would. The lease stated only that I would receive it 21 days after lease. That is all it said and the landlord did not say I would not get it back. Well the letter showed deductions/charges for things on the apt. since the move and then a total at the bottom. At first I thought this was the amount that was left after the deductions. Nope! This was an amount that they said I still owed them! Even after given the notice they needed, which was 30 days, and then the following months rent and another month on top of that plus an added amount for a concession on renewing the lease. Well, I was livid. I called up the landlord and brought this up, well, she responded that by breaking the lease, I forfeit my deposit. I was NEVER told this. She said it was on page 2 of the lease ... it isn't! So now I am going to fight this to get the money I am owed. I will probably never see it but I have to fight for it. She never told me this at the time the plans were made. And using the terms "break the lease" makes it sound like I just upped and moved w/o warning and shafted them the amount. This is so not the truth. Anyway ... just wanted to share and explain why the title of the post. Hope all is well with you all and that your week is going great.
