Had A Bad Day .....

As if my day was not stressful enough, dealing with crap at work, it ended on a sour note. With having to make weekly payments on my new laptop I have also been trying to plan a trip back home to Chicago in August for my 15 year high school reunion. So I have been looking into ways to try and bring in some more cash. Well, I found a part time work from home position posted on Craigslist a couple weeks back. Had a phone interview with the company and it went really well. I got along great with the woman interviewing me. I then had a face to face the other day with her and it also went really well. All signs were pointing towards the positive. Well, I received a call from her around 6pm pretty much telling me they would not be able to bring me on. That they decided to go with other candidates.

Typing it, it may not really sound like much, I know. But I really thought I was going to finally have the chance to get ahead of things. Once again I was wrong ..... it is very disappointing. Now I am not sure I will be able to make it back to Chicago. That in itself is very sad! I was so looking forward to it and now I am not sure I will be able to do it. I need to come up with money for the flight .... money for a place to stay for a week .... and money to rent a car. And I also need money to do things while I am there. I know it is 4 months away, but it really flies by.

Well, I have rambled enough. Think I may beat off then crawl into bed. I have to get up early and go into the office tomorrow ... woohoo! Anway ... I hope that you enjoy this evening's post.
