I'm A Fool ...
Is it unhealthy to have a major crush on a straight guy at work? Probably. But it never fails. There is always someone I have a major thing for and know that it is unattainable. But man ... I so cannot help it. He is so cute! He is hispanic I think. Has a great smile and a really nice body. But more importantly, he is a really nice guy. He is 25 too! It is scary because sometimes I feel like I am obsessing over him. My roommate will say that I am. He is probably right. I wish I did not have these feelings, believe me. He has a girlfriend too, one that he has known since the 6th grade. Oh well ... I will just have to admire him from a distance. :(

I feel ya. At my server job I have a straight friend that I have the hots for and I went so far to tell him I had this dream in which he was wearing a jockstrap. However, I did not tell him that he kept showing me his asshole in the dream. It was awkward for a bit, but we're still good friends. Though now a girlfriend of mine is trying to convince me that I should ask him to pose in a jockstrap for me, so I can take pics. Nope, not gonna do it! :)

Hey! First time visitor here, and I like it! And--you've touched on something I love to talk about.
Ugh! Guys at work! It's the worst, most frustrating thing. I've been there many times, with 50/50 results. When it worked, it was always quiet, well hidden, and no one ever knew. So you have to ask yourself, "Can I handle that? Can I keep this quiet and not blow this guy's cover? And for that matter--can he???" Hmm.
Believe it or not, trips to the men's room are the best approach to break the ice and establish where you're both coming from. If he's interested, you'll know, and then take it from there. But be careful, you can't be all out and obvious about it. The last thing you need is a call from the HR. It usually takes a few stratigic visits.
On the other hand, some guys just love being a cock tease, so you have to be ready to accept that and let it go if it turns out that way.
All it comes down to is you never know. I've been there with lots of "married straight" guys who need to be closeted for various reasons. The biggest thing to remember is that at work, it usually takes time to do this unless you're really lucky, and the guy comes on to you.
Good luck, and be careful. You've got to use your head. I have it real bad for my boss--the little hottie that he is. But I just can't go there, and I often wonder about him. He seems just a bit too gay friendly and knowledgable, which seems to me that at the right place and time, things would happen. Nothing would make me happier--but he has to make the first move.
