I Need Your Help ...

I can only imagine the backlash I am going to receive for this but, you know what, screw it! I need to do what I need to do.

As you all know, I left my job a couple of months back. I thought that I was doing the right thing. Looking back on it ... not so much. I did not think that things would go the way they have the last couple of months. When I thought that things would get better, they turned and only got worse. I have never been so scared, so freaked out, in my entire life. I have applied for a number of jobs and nothing is happening. I had one phone interview today and the woman did not seem so impressed with me. And I had high hopes for this position.

That being said, I am having a really hard time making ends meet this month. I have not been spending the little money that I have so that I can put it towards rent. My bills/utilities are taking a back seat for this very same reason. I have sold many of my belongings on EBay in hopes to get closer to the amount that I need. But I am still about $400 to $500 off where I need to be. So that is why I am reaching out to all of you.

I know that there will be haters who say that all I do is ask for money. Everyone has their own opinion and I am sorry that you feel that way. I am reaching out to all of you because I have nowhere else to turn at this point. If I had family to ask, I would. Believe me, I hate asking you all for help because I know the kind of hate responses that I am going to receive 'Anonymously'. I need to do this. I do not want to lose my apartment and end up on the streets. This is a very scary time for me.

If you are able to help me out, please take the time to do so. I would be so very grateful. You can click on the Donations link in the right hand column or you can email me at TheMaleSack@gmail.com to discuss mailing something to me. I am at wits end right now and don't know what else to do at this point. Please .... I do not expect all of the money to come from one person. That would be awesome, but unrealistic. Any amount will help and would be greatly appreciated.

I am very sorry to hear about your trouble, Jason. I've been out of work since April 08 and am just about out of money as well, but I have my family around me to keep me going.

I hope you get back on your feet soon.

Dude if u get a dollar apiece it would equal a couple of grand judging from all of the hits u get on this site. Give the flies sugar and they will buzz to it soft sell em by soliciting 1 dollar fm every visitor and reap the benefits. Sorry about your work situation. I will send you something too. I like your site.

I hope you take this comment as constructive and positive. You probably should get a job in the interim, such as waiting on tables (I remeber when I was younger that always was good and quick cash). Having only 2 mos. of savings after quitting a job requires you to start bringing in income as soon as possible while you search for permanent employment in this poor economy.

Chin up!!

Welcome to adulthood. :) Get off your ass and get a job. What, you're too good to wait tables? Clean houses? Wash dishes? Stock shelves in a grocery store???

Your profile says you're 34 yet you pull a bonehead move like quitting a job without a safety net. Genius! Sheer genius! It's sickening that a grown man of 34 can be so retarded in his adolescence that he just now realizes that there is something called "objective reality" out there.

Quit your crying and man up, bitch!

I've been out of work for quite some time, and don't even have enough money to take care of my own things. There are things you can do to get assistance... maybe you should look into that?

Renter's assistance and all that should be available. However, I am not sure about the kind of assistance they have in CA.

Good luck and I wish you the best.

There's absolutely no work anywhere, but we all will prevail in due time.

wow Ms Hairpie, 'way to slam a guy when he's down. The sad fact is that u are right. But maybe u could have said it nicer?
Jason, u should maybe see if Social Services can help you a bit.

It is stupid to say "get a job" when there are just not enough jobs. Sure, it was stupid of him to give up the last job. Jason knows that himself... If you don't want to donate anything, okay. But still show some love and respect.

Good luck and hope the situation improves soon. I've been enjoying your blog for a while now and I've just sent you $60 as a small thank you!
